About the Authors
Derin Peck, Jessica Chu, and Mudra Patel are best friends whose decades-long friendship, love of travel, and passion for fantasy romance compelled them to stop reading other people's worlds and build one of their own. They wrote Shadows of the Veil the way they have always lived — adventurously, across five continents and ten countries, from Kenya and Turkey to Brazil and Jamaica. The push and pull at the heart of this enemies-to-lovers story reflects something they know well: that the most rewarding relationships are rarely the easiest ones. They are based in Charleston, Jersey City, and New York City, and this is their debut. Fox — a name borrowed from three dogs they love most: Ellie, Lottie, and Mr. Fox.
